Meet the Director

 Laurie White

My name is Laurie White and I am the Director at Dar-lings Learning Center. I am a happily married mother of two grown children.  My youngest is in college at Texas Tech studying to be Veterinarian. I was born and raised in a military family. After my parents retired from the military, I was raised on my fathers’ ranch in South Texas. I went to high school in Odessa and then to college at Texas Tech where I have a degree in education and criminal justice. I have been married for 33 years. I am avid supporter of early education and believe children learn through doing and that children learn from their environment. I am also a by the book person but think a queeze (hug) fixes most anything. My hobbies are New York Yankee baseball, shopping, antiquing, being out on the lake, or working on my fathers ranch and riding horses. I believe children should have fun at life, making messes and exploring.
